Nexus Community are proud to join LIVESTRONG® in the fight against cancer!
In April 2010 Nexus Community decided to partner with Matrix Fitness to introduce LIVESTRONG® Indoor Cycling to our Centres. We also made the decision to formally adopt LIVESTRONG as our primary company charity, notwithstanding the many charities and good causes we will continue to work with at a local level.
During September the first tranche of new bikes will be delivered to Henley Leisure Centre, Didcot Leisure Centre and Windrush Leisure Centre in Witney. More than the bike, LIVESTRONG Indoor Cycling by Matrix provides us with the practical tools required to teach and inspire positive changes in the lives of our members and local community.
Inspired by the drive and determination of Lance Armstrong Matrix Fitness have entered into an agreement for a minimum of $4M to go to the LIVESTRONG Foundation and the fight against cancer. To coincide with the new bikes we will soon be launching our own fundraising efforts!
The LIVESTRONG relationship with Matrix Fitness is more than a license agreement, it is an initiative to join the fight against cancer and promote a healthy lifestyle.
