We’ve tried to explain what you can expect at the different classes on offer but don’t be afraid to ask a member of staff for further information or to simply try something new. All classes involve elements of flexibility, fitness, toning and strength; however, the most important ingredient is fun…

Abs, Back and Core
A very low impact class focusing on core strength and stability improving posture, spinal strength and flexibility; an excellent stomach toning workout!
Aerobics
The original and maybe still the best!
Aqua
A safe and effective workout in water that will keep you fit and toned.
Aquanatal
A safe and relaxing form of exercise in the water for pregnant women (16 weeks+).
Ballroom Dancing
An opportunity to learn moves which can be used for social or partner dancing.
Body Combat and Technique
An energetic cardio workout inspired by martial arts such as Karate, Boxing, Tae Kwon do, Tai Chi and Muay Thai.
Body Balance
Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilate’s workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm.
Body Max & Sculpt
A class which incorporates core strength & postural awareness to develop power, strength and tone of the whole body.
Body Pump
A class using barbells that strengthens muscle groups for a whole body workout.
Body Step
The energising step workout that uses a high adjustable step. Simple movements with the step aids muscle conditioning which shapes and tones.
Body Jam
A cardio workout which incorporates dance moves with the latest sounds!
Boxercise
A fantastic fitness workout using techniques inspired by boxing.
Cardio
An aerobics class that is guaranteed to raise the heart rate, improve the cardio vascular system and burn calories!
Cardio Interval
A workout that consists of moving from one exercise to another in intervals which helps to maintain a healthy body.
Cardio Kick
A dynamic, motivating and intense workout that combines simple aerobic routines with martial arts and boxing based moves.
Cardiac Rehab
A session of appropriate exercise led by clinical exercise specialists for individuals with coronary heart disease.
Chair-based Exercise
For those who have had a fall or are at risk of falling, this class helps to improve balance, co-ordination and strength.
Circuits
A class that has it all-fitness, toning, and even a little strength endurance! Every station is a new challenge.
Conditioning
A class that focuses on those priority areas.
Easyline Sessions
These sessions take place in our new easy-to-use Easyline gym at the Windrush Leisure Centre and are led by our friendly and qualified staff who will ensure you achieve your health and fitness goals!

Keep Active
A low impact station-based circuits class for people aged 50+. Every station is a new challenge.
LBT/Legs, Bums & Tums
A low impact class that focuses on those priority areas!
Mind and Body
Gently stretch and tone your muscles.
Movement & Mobility
A class for the over 50’s that improves mobility & flexibility
Pilates
Focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced.
Postnatal Exercise
Exercise for the pelvic floor and tummy muscles to get back into exercising.
Pure Abs
A class designed to define, shape and flatten those abs fast!
Salsa Mix
A dance style exercise incorporating moves from Salsa.
Sculpt
Get fast results using weights to tone and condition.
Step
A lively fitness-based class using the step to tone the lower body and burn calories.
Street Dance
An upbeat class for all abilities and ages with a choreographed routine to the latest chart music.
Studio Cycling
A high-energy indoor cycling class integrating music, camaraderie and visualisation.
Tai-Chi
Improve balance and core stability using your inner energy.
Total Body Conditioning
Full body workout including floor work and aerobics which uses various equipment.
Yoga
This exercise will increase your range of motion, facilitate relaxation and release tension through focusing on posture alignment and breathing.
Zumba
A fun, effective work out that combines Latin dance moves with aerobics to burn calories and energise the body!
50+
A low impact class adapted for our more experienced exercisers!

Enjoy yourself...
As important as exercising safely, regularly, and effectively is having fun! Exercising in a group probably gives you the best opportunity to achieve all four but having the right attitude to exercising is a good place to start.
