Stuart McNicoll [General Manager]
Stuart is a young and enthusiastic Manager that has been involved in Leisure since starting
mini rugby at the age of 5. After spending 10 years competing at a high level in Swimming, He decided to use this experience of spending many hours at Leisure Centre’s across the Country to good use, and picked up his Lifeguarding Qualification.
After a short spell as a Lifeguard at two centre’s, He found his first full time position as a Manager in the leisure industry at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, a busy centre offering a range of facilities tailored to a large user base of top Paralympic athletes.
After 3 years as Duty Manager at Stoke Mandeville he moved to Nexus at the busy Chiltern Pools, Amersham as Operations Manager. Stuart has now been working for Nexus for 4 years, and in that time has worked across 4 sites, including Chalfont, Amersham, Beaconsfield and now Chesham.
After 2 occasions of covering General Manager positions and gaining valuable experience and success in Leisure Quality Standards Award Quest, and client relations he was promoted to General Manager at Chesham in June. He is thoroughly enjoying the challenging of Managing such a busy community leisure centre.
He has recently attained his First Aid Tutor qualification, and looks forward to training the next generation of young people to succeed in the Leisure Industry.
