Riverside Car Parking – Summer 2012

The council has introduced a short stay at Riverside of 50p for up to one hour all summer, £1.00 for up to three hours and £2.30 for up to 10 hours in the high season summer period.

The council has introduced a free permit for leisure centre card holders who wish to use the outdoor swimming pool. The permit will allow free parking for 2 hours for users of the main swimming pool. Nexus will be responsible for issuing permits to customers and they will be issued upon request when a ticket is purchased for entry to the swimming pool.

To clarify the charging period is between 9am to 6pm Monday to Sunday. This change has been made to accommodate short term users and to encourage use of the facilities at Riverside.
