Induction: All employees receive a 6 month induction period. During this period all employees meet with their line manager after 3 and 6 months to review their progress, discuss development and to see how they are progressing within their role. During the 6 month period all employees will also complete 5 core induction courses.
Cycle to Work Scheme: Nexus Community offers a Tax free bike scheme to its employees. Cycle to work is a tax incentive where an employee not only saves money (typical saving for an average tax-payer is between 38-45%) but also helps reduce air pollution and improve their health.

Staff Reward Schemes: Nexus Community have a number of different staff reward schemes as follows:
Book of Dreams: This is a chance for all employees to put forward their ideas about ways to improve the company. If your idea is implemented points are awarded and prizes can be redeemed which include vouchers, tickets and much more!
• Refer a Friend: This scheme invites all Nexus employees to directly participate in the permanent recruitment process, by submitting the details of individuals who possess the qualities required and are interested in working for Nexus. If a nominated applicant is successfully recruited, the referrer will receive £50.
• Employee of the month: This scheme allows employees within Nexus to nominate an employee of the month. Each month the Contract Management Team will then vote an overall winner who will receive a prize and be put forward to the employee of the quarter awards. The winner of the employee of the quarter will receive £500.
